📆 Weekly Roundup: Firsts, Favorites, and Far-Reaching Signings

This week brought some exciting variety—and even a first for me!

✅ 2 buyer packages
✅ My first ever 1031 Exchange signing
✅ Support for two different law firms
✅ A visit to a local chiropractor’s office
✅ A remote online signing with signers spread across the state and country
✅ A warranty deed
✅ And 2 depositions

From real estate deals to legal paperwork to health care offices—this week reminded me just how versatile this work can be. Each signing had its own unique flow, and I’m grateful for the continued trust across industries and professionals.

📆 Weekly Roundup: Homegrown Service, Heartfelt Work

This week was busy—but the best kind of busy. I had the privilege of helping people in all kinds of situations, and each one reminded me why I do what I do.

🏠 I assisted a local title company with 3 buyer closings—a full-circle moment since it turns out it’s the same office where I closed when I bought my own home here in Melbourne. It felt like a little taste of being home.

✍🏼 I provided professional witness services for a fellow notary and an attorney.

💙 I helped two Hospice of St. Francis members finalize important documents during an emotional time.

🧾 I completed a Form I-9 employment verification for a new employee. While not a notarization, it’s a service I specialize in and one many notaries are trusted to handle.

💻 By the time this posts, I’ll have also helped:
✔️ A fellow notary complete their Remote Online Notary application
✔️ A local family finalize their estate planning documents

And this weekend, I’ll be assisting with closing documents for an upcoming real estate deal.

Between last week and this week, I’ve had the opportunity to complete 9 unique signings—each one a little different, but all important:

🖥️ An online deposition
✍🏼 An in-person deposition signing
🏡 2 seller closings
📄 A loan modification
📑 3 Durable Power of Attorney documents
📈 An assignment of stock

And let’s not forget:
✔️ 3 of those signings were done remotely—serving clients locally, in Ohio, and in central Florida
✔️ Plus, a witness-only signing for a fellow local notary

Grateful for the variety, the trust, and the steady pace.

This week was a bit slower—I was out of town and also recovering from being sick. But I still had the chance to:

And I wanted to share one of my favorite tools that I use during loan signings: my handy dandy dry erase board with the date written on it.

When you're dating 20+ documents in a signing package, it’s easy to get in a daze. This simple board saves clients time and stress—and it's one of those little touches that makes a big difference.
