Matt Razavi for Judge

Magistrate Matt Razavi had a great time representing the court at Medina County Senior and Adult Services Senior Day 2026! It was a pleasure to join other county agencies,local businesses, and service providers to honor and spend time with Medina County’s most valued citizens. Always nice to see Amy Kerr and Rachel Schellenberger of the Medina County Prosecutor’s Office Victim/Witness Division!

Thank you for all of your support and votes! Now we are on to the general election on November 3, 2026. I’ll have an opponent in November and voters will have a clear choice:

- 30 years of real experience in the courtroom trying nearly 200 jury trials to verdict vs just “handling” cases for a few years.

- a prosecutor and magistrate who has spent his career in Medina County serving Medina County citizens and representing Medina County values vs never having practiced in any Medina County courts.

- judicial experience, having served the last 10 years on the bench as your common pleas magistrate vs no judicial experience.

Magistrate Razavi had the opportunity to host and speak to this wonderful group of Brunswick High School students. An incredibly engaged and inquisitive group. Wonderful future leaders!

May 1st is Law Day. The Medina County Bar Association awards scholarships and this year reminded us of “the Rule of Law and American Dream”. It was a pleasure to visit with my good friend and State Central Committee Member Bill Heck.

This morning I was honored to speak at the Troop 454 Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony for Ethan DeCoster and Everett Ryncarz! These two fine young men embody everything it means to be an Eagle Scout. One can’t help but be optimistic about the future of our country amongst these future leaders. Congratulations to Ethan, Everett, and their families and mentors! A special thanks to Scoutmaster Rick Dumperth for inviting me to speak at this wonderful ceremony.

The Veterans Military Banquet hosted by the Joint Veterans Coalition of Medina County is a special event. I was pleased to join others last night to honor and thank our Medina County Veterans.
