Keepin' It Simple Farm
Thanks to all who purchased pork from the farm this year, with a special thanks to Ryan Marino, owner of the Corkscrew Saloon. I'm sure he will be thinking up some great recipes to serve his guests.
We are selling half of one of the pigs we raised on the farm this Summer. It will be roughly 100 lbs of pork, custom butchered to your specifications. They will be butchered mid-October. If anyone is interested let me know.

House Votes to Remove Country-of-Origin Labels on Meat Sold in U.S. The House voted to remove country-of-origin labels on beef, pork and chicken sold in the U.S., hoping to prevent a protracted battle over the labels with Canada and Mexico.
I'm selling tomato plants at the farm stand $1 each. Two for 1 for friends of the farm. These are all plants I started from seed. Amish paste (Roma), Pink Brandywine (Great tasting sandwich tomato), and Bonny Best (a medium sized early producer). They are all heirloom varieties and very solid plants. They are about 18"+ right now, hardened off and ready for the ground.
