These girls had so much fun yesterday in the 4x100! Such a great experience for everyone attending. Haley hopes to return in the coming years! Way to go, Haven!

Tough day for . She had a small tangle up with another rider in a slippery slow speed corner. Looks like Haley’s knee went down on the other rider’s rear disk. Sliced her knee open pretty bad. As she lay there on the course, she cheered on every last rider until I was able to carry her off course. She was really bummed to not finish.

So proud of She just learned that she made the Strath Haven Varsity field hockey team as a freshman! She’s worked so hard all year for this. Playing club hockey and lots of hits with mom and dad has really paid off.

This coming week, Haley from Health Education Cycling, will be practicing one of the three facets of HEC. Health! Unfortunately, Haley experienced a very painful injury on Friday night. She stubbed her big toe, creating an open fracture. The hope is to skip this week’s field hockey and gymnastics, and be ready to race the USCX in Rochester this weekend. Of course, if she is unable to race she will still be there to cheer on her teammate and friends.
