Media Democrats

The preliminary results are in — and all seven of our Democratic municipal candidates for Media Borough have won their elections! 💙 Congrats to Joi Washington for Mayor, Elizabeth Romaine, Mark Paikoff, Jen Malkoun, Taylor Dunn and Emilia del Grosso for Council and Katey McVerry for Tax Collector.

We’ll share final tallies and other election updates tomorrow, but tonight we just want to say thank you — to our incredible poll workers, watchers, greeters, phone bankers and every volunteer who gave their time and energy to make this happen. And of course, to our voters — thank you for showing up and showing your support for Media’s future.

We’re so proud of this community and look forward to continuing to serve you in 2026

🗳️ It’s Election Day, Media!

Today’s the day — and every vote counts! ✅

Here’s your Democratic Sample Ballot — screenshot it, save it and bring it with you to the polls. You can also ask for one from one of our Media Dems greeters outside every precinct — we’ll have someone there almost all day to help answer questions and share materials. And remember, vote 'YES' on all judicial retention questions.

🕖 Polls are open 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
If you’re in line by 8 p.m., you will be able to vote.

📬 Mail-in ballots: must be brought to the county election bureau or dropped off in a Delaware County drop box by 8 p.m. tonight. At this point, do not mail it — it may not be postmarked in time!

DM us your address and what time you’d like to vote — we’ll make arrangements to get you there.
