Today marks the day U.S. moms have had to work into 2020 to be paid the same that U.S. dads made in 2019 alone.

On this Day, we uplift Black moms, who are leading so much of the organizing against police violence and anti-Black racism, including how it shows up in workplace and pay discrimination.

Black moms working full-time year-round earned just 50 cents for every dollar earned by white, non-Hispanic men in 2019. Black women deserve to be paid fairly for their work.
