Red-spotted Purple Butterfly on Black-eyed Susan taken over the Summer in my yard. Summer is quickly coming to an end. Bird migration is in full swing and so is Monarch Butterfly migration (those photos coming soon). I will miss seeing the summer birds and pollinators, but I look forward to our beautiful Winter visitors.

I can spend all day watching this gorgeous Ruby-throated Hummingbird in my garden. These little birds are so amazing! 🐦

Sometimes getting before 5 am pays off. One of our resident Eastern Screech Owls came by for a drink before heading to bed this morning.

This Great-crested Flycatcher has been hanging around my yard. I noticed it last week when I heard a call I wasn't familiar with. 🐦
