I want to congratulate several of our members who were accepted into the first public call for art at the Hummingbird Gallery at Red Oak Brewery. If you have not been there it's on the south side of the Gibsonville exit on I-40/85. Congrats to Judy Madren, Donna Farmer, Linda Fowler, and Vic Vickers.

Note the attached invitation to the reception which is tomorrow from 4-8pm. The gallery is separate from the brewery. If you have not been there yet it is a world class gallery. Bill Sherrill, the owner of Red Oak, started collecting art many years ago when he lived in Germany. His rotating collection, housed on the first floor is called the Griffith Gallery, is absolutely beautiful! Our member's art is on the second floor (there is an elevator) in the Hummingbird Gallery.
