Loneliness at the Top: A Hidden Challenge for Leaders
Leadership can be profoundly lonely. A recent survey found 25% of CEOs report frequent loneliness, and over half have experienced significant isolation — especially during upheaval, crisis, or tough decisions.
The Irish Times article (Aug 15, 2025) points to two key strategies:
1️⃣ Self-care & reflection
2️⃣ Building a trusted tribe
This mirrors what I see in my work with C-suite and senior leaders.
Coaching offers what many leaders can’t find elsewhere: space to pause, reflect, and ask — Am I living in alignment with my values?
When they are, leaders notice they show up stronger for their teams, clients, and themselves.
Coaching provides:
✨ A confidential partner
✨ A mirror to realign with purpose
✨ Protection of time to think, not just react
✨ A way to transform isolation into clarity
Leadership isn’t meant to be solitary. Building your “trusted tribe” can — and should — include a coach.
