On September 9, Montana will dedicate the Wall of the Fallen Tow Operator Memorial at the Headwaters Rest Area near Three Forks.

Crowning the memorial is a stunning bronze “Soaring Eagle” carrying the American Flag, created by local artist Mary Michael. The sculpture symbolizes strength, sacrifice, and freedom — honoring Montana’s tow operators who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

Sponsored by the Montana state towing association, the monument not only remembers the fallen but also reminds the public of the importance of slowing down and moving over to keep roadway workers safe.
