Cocktail 2 Mounted on a Massive ₹150 Crore Budget

Dinesh Vijan’s Cocktail 2 is generating significant buzz ahead of its June 19 release, with audiences praising its grand visuals, exotic locations, and lavish presentation. Directed by Homi Adajania and starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna, the film is being positioned as a large-scale big-screen entertainer rather than a conventional romantic comedy.

According to industry sources, the film’s production cost stands at approximately ₹95 crore, while the lead cast’s combined remuneration is said to be around ₹35 crore. An additional ₹20 crore has reportedly been allocated for print and publicity, taking the total landing cost to ₹150 crore.

The makers have filmed extensively across Europe and other international locations over a 70-day schedule, aiming to bring a fresh visual identity to the rom-com genre. Reports also suggest that nearly 50% of the budget has already been recovered through non-theatrical and pre-sale deals, reflecting strong confidence in the project.

With its star-studded cast, global locations, and premium production values, Cocktail 2 is shaping up to be one of Bollywood’s most ambitious romantic comedies in recent years.
