Last Friday, we officially broke ground on the new McKinney Roots location at Gray Branch Parkland.
What started in the outfield of an old baseball field in far North McKinney has grown into the Donation Farm it is today — producing over 2 tons of produce, more than 15,000 dozen eggs annually, and helping feed 350 families every single week.
This next chapter means even more. This move will allow us to double our output and expand our impact on the community we love so much.
We couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who came out to celebrate and break ground on the very site that will help feed families in need for years to come. 💚

Join us Thursday, January 29th at 7:00pm at Harvest at The Masonic on Chef Dre’s floor on two. Michelin Executive Chef Andrea Shackelford has crafted a five-course winter inspired dinner, thoughtfully paired with wines and specialty cocktails.
All proceeds from the evening will directly support McKinney Roots’ operational fund as we transition to our new home at Gray Branch Parkland.
