THANK YOU to the Char West Council of Governments for giving me this very meaningful citation at tonight’s meeting! As a former commissioner in Kennedy Township, it has been my pleasure and my privilege to be involved with this excellent organization for over 30 years! They are a model of good government!

Our thanks to the folks at Castle Consortia for sprucing up the municipal building!

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.

Please note that the Municipal Building will be closed Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. Public Works will also be off for the holiday. Normal business hours will resume Tuesday, May 26.

We wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

Summer is right around the corner, and our parks are looking better than ever! 🌞🌳

Check out our freshly mulched parks and landscaping throughout the township. A big thank you to Bosetti Landscaping for all of their hard work helping keep our community looking its best!

And we’re not done yet — stay tuned for even more improvements coming soon, including new benches, landscaping enhancements, and other park upgrades. We’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to continuing to make our community spaces places everyone can enjoy!

Our Public Works team has officially started street sweeping for the summer season.

Residents are encouraged to pay close attention to posted signage on your street, which will indicate when the sweeper is scheduled in your area. Following these guidelines helps ensure we can clean your streets safely and effectively.

We are committed to reaching as many streets as possible throughout the season and appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep our community clean and looking its best.
