As many of you know, we are navigating a significant transition at Southern Roots following my separation from my former husband. 
I originally didn’t feel the need to make a public statement about such a painful and private part of my life; however, circumstances have placed pressure upon me, my business, customers and employees, and I need to make some things clear. 
I wish life had turned out differently, but I thank God for this new chapter He has shown me—a life filled with God’s love, respect, and appreciation for my hard work of over 17 years in business.

It’s been almost 16 months since I walked away from the Southern Roots Mission location. I could not bring myself to walk into that building. 
The heartache I experienced in that building, betrayed as a woman was too great, and for my and my daughter’s emotional and mental well-being, my kids and I had to step away. 
The standard and atmosphere at the Mission location is now different from what you would expect from Southern Roots.  The flower market at this location has been closed and now you know why.  I am receiving so many messages daily from customers commenting on the changes they have noticed.
