Water Day was a success! 💦

Our friends had a great time cooling off, playing outside, and enjoying the sunshine. It was a fun day filled with lots of laughs, water play, and smiles.

🍦 Melted Ice Cream Sensory Bin 🍫

Today our 2/3 class had so much fun exploring our Melted Ice Cream Sensory Bin! Using shaving cream and “chocolate sprinkles,” they scooped, poured, mixed, and pretended to make delicious ice cream treats.

This hands-on activity helped develop:

🍦 Sensory exploration
🍦 Imaginative play
🍦 Language and social skills as they shared and talked about their creations

This week our one year old class got to roll up their sleeves and explore our “Mud Kitchen” during Summer Vibes Week! Using dirt, grass, water, and a variety of scoops, bowls, and kitchen tools, the children mixed, poured, stirred, and created their own muddy masterpieces.

This hands-on sensory experience encouraged creativity, imaginative play, and problem-solving as they experimented with different textures and materials. They also practiced fine motor skills by scooping, pouring, and transferring, while building social skills through sharing tools, taking turns, and working together to “cook” their muddy recipes.

Messy play is more than just fun—it’s an important part of learning! It helps children develop curiosity, confidence, and a love for exploring the world around them.

🍉☀️ Summer Vibes Week! ☀️🍉

Today our sweet 2 and 3’s class had so much fun making homemade watermelon popsicles! They loved helping pour, stir, and taste the juicy watermelon before we froze our yummy treats. It was a fun, hands-on activity that encouraged exploring new foods, practicing simple directions, and using their little helping hands.

Nothing says summer like a cool watermelon popsicle and lots of happy smiles! ❤️🍉
