An announcement in my latest newsletter: Turning the Page Dear Friends, February is like a threshold month — a pause before spring. And for me, it’s also a turning of the page. Sometime in March, I’ll begin a personal sabbatical — a season of stepping back, reading, learning, gardening, cooking, nurturing, traveling, creating, listening more deeply within, and somewhere in there, being. Not to disappear but to sort through what matters most and how that will evolve. To practice what I may teach. With winter weather lingering and my timeline evolving, I’ll share more specific dates for this break and what I anticipate for this next chapter in an upcoming newsletter. Is it rushing the seasons when you find yourself poring over images of fall decorations and even beyond? We had to order a replacement for an old Christmas tree, and I went down that rabbit hole, quickly!

When it recently arrived, I thought about pulling it out of the box to test the lights, and I knew that would lead me down a path of temptation. Maybe I could create an autumn theme to transition it into Thanksgiving and beyond? You can't blame a gal when it's been so rainy and gloomy for the past umpteen days and more is in the forecast. The flowers in the garden are also beginning to wane, and I could use a pick-me-up.

I'll leave you with our client's cozy, pumpkin spice corner to imagine curling up with a grown-up blankie and something cinnamon-flavored to sip.
