New Year…but the same ol’ tent lovin’ me 😍

I am 41 today.

It’s surreal standing here. I used to sit here for hours as a child overlooking my parent’s property. Some days I would come up and read, other times I would listen to music on my Walkman (the choices would change throughout the years, but I distinctly remember the soundtrack to Aladdin being a favorite). Even when I would return from college, I would visit this spot and think about I wanted to do next. This space was mine to think. To celebrate. To grieve. To be unapologeticly me.

And today, just like a lifelong friend, I am met exactly as I am and who I am at this moment in time.
