If I had been smart, I would have posted this last week for St Patrick's Day. 😅 Truthfully, I've been treading water behind the scenes as I try to keep up with my deadlines, classes, and personal life. Granted it's my fault ...I'm the one in charge of assigning myself projects. 🤣

Sapphire Sprite 🌊 This blue dragon sea slug painting is the crown jewel of my upcoming solo show, Cascading Kinship. This piece is rich with texture and bright, bold colors in every inch!

Have you ever heard of a blue dragon sea slug before? This little creature (1-1.5 in) is highly venomous. They store the venom from their prey, man o' war jellyfish and other venomous jellies, in their appendages! If you ever come across one, don't touch (but DO send me a photo)!

For Liam.

A week ago, 5 year old Liam Ramos was used by ICE as bait to kidnap his dad. The two of them are being held at a TX detention center, despite being here legally. To make matters worse, little Liam has become very ill in the poor conditions.

This is unlawful, unconstitutional, and un-American. Thousands of our neighbors are being kidnapped and abused by ICE. Children are being kept in dirty, cold detention centers without medical care or quality food.

Have a heart. Love your neighbor. Don't stay quiet.
