With summer almost here ☀️🌊 and the countdown to the end of the school year officially ON 🎉, now is the perfect time to have those important water safety conversations with your kiddos. Whether you’re headed to the pool 🏖️, beach 🌊, lake 🚤, or spending time on a boat ⛵️

🏊 THE SAFER SWIMMER PLEDGE 🖐️

1️⃣ Whether I’m at home, the beach or pool, I will play it cool and follow the rules.

2️⃣ When it comes to swimming, water safety is key, that’s why I will always have an adult with me.

3️⃣ When I’m around water or on a boat, I can wear a life jacket to help me float.

4️⃣ No matter how deep the water may be, I’ll jump in with my feet.

5️⃣ If I see a swimmer in need, I’ll throw them something to float, and then I’ll go and get an adult.

💦 Water Safety Tips 💦

1️⃣ Always have a designated Water Guardian 🛟

2️⃣ NEVER let your child swim alone 🏊

3️⃣ Always wear Coast Guard-approved life jackets — floaties and pool noodles are NOT life-saving devices 🦺

4️⃣ Give 100% of your attention to the kiddos around water 👀

5️⃣ Be aware of water EVERYWHERE, even if your child isn’t planning to swim 🌊

6️⃣ Learn CPR ❤️

7️⃣ Start swim lessons as early as 4 months old 👶
