School activity: coloring, cutting, listening to the story.

Home: review the story-listening, visual scanning to locate the animals, following 1-2 step directions (select the animal and place in the mitten), Tracking with finger to increase awareness that each segment is a word, ID sight words (can select 1 to start with then build), matching site words….

When running in the house is ok lol 😂

Target Vocab like:
Get on, off, push, fast, ride, fun, my turn, your turn, car, help, etc

Help them learn how to solve problems while they play!

“I need help”

Model it (say it) for them to teach them and then when problems arise encourage them to ask for help.
