Big things are brewing behind the scenes at Wicklanders…

As many of you already know, we’ve been sitting on making a small rebrand - something that feels more aligned with who we’ve grown into over the years.

While herbal medicine will always be at the heart of what we do, we’ve become so much more than an apothecary. We’re herbs and remedies, yes — but also soaps, salves, books, tea, gatherings, classes, ritual and community.

Because of this, we’re thinking about simplifying things to Wicklanders with a smaller descriptor underneath.

Hey, it’s me! Harvesting herbs on the Summer Solstice.

There is something a little extra witchy about harvesting sun loving herbs, like lemon balm and calendula, on the day we choose to honor her - the Summer Solstice - the longest day of the year.

Today, it is grey but dry. But, harvesting berries was still on my to-do list. It’s easier on my body (I’m allergic to the sun!) to harvest on days like today - but, a little less magical.
