Rare ‘avalanche’ blocks Pennsylvania road during major snowstorm The blockage along Coxton Road in Duryea was more likely a snowslide—snow and debris sliding off a steep embankment during heavy snowfall.

Lake Erie was…GONE. No water as far as the eye can see Wednesday. 👀💨🌊

I’ll share one more jaw dropping picture from Cullen Park in Point Place taken from where the shoreline of western Lake Erie is normally. During the seiche Wednesday, the water was sucked out of western Lake Erie due to high winds. Water levels plunged 6 FEET in less than 24 hours.
