Mediocre Rally Team

With some last minute plan changes we thought we would have to miss most of recce to tech our car. But thanks to who got us in touch with Nate Winkler, Nate saved the day and brought our car in to tech for us! Big thanks Nate!
We were able to write notes for most of the stages, so tomorrow we will find out if they actually work.

Made up to Marquette for LSPR! Got the Subarus parked nice and close to dumpster so if they give us any issues, it’s a short walk to throw them out.

Well, we made it to the end of 2022! Unfortunately on stage 1 we got stuck on the inside of a corner and couldn’t get the car to go into gear. We wasted a few minutes on stage playing with the shifter and finally got it to start working again. Everything seemed fine and we were making up some time, but on the final 19 mile stage we lost gears again. This time we really had to beat the hell out of the shifter and somehow found 4th. Luckily we were able to finish stage 8 and make to the end.

Not exactly the result we wanted, but between the mechanical drama and some off track excursions, we were more than happy to just survive until the end.
