Not all trails are created equally. A 5-mile hike of 1,000 feet of elevation gain with Yosemite's above sea-level altitude can feel very different from an average neighborhood walk.

Whether you’re an occasional stroller, a weekend warrior, or a seasoned hiker, we can help you match your choice of trail to both your fitness level and the amount of time you have allocated for hiking—so you can enjoy Yosemite’s beauty without burning out.

Early fall. Glorious.

Mid-late October is one of the BEST times to visit Yosemite, partly because there’s a riot of fall color all over the park, including the high country, which is currently still accessible as the snow hasn’t started yet.

and guests visiting the park in fall will often take advantage of the high country access and cross Tioga Pass to the eastern side of the Sierra to experience the fall color in Mono County-some of the best in the western United States.

has an awesome fall colors report on their website that is updated daily. As of yesterday the report said “still waiting”, so time hasn’t run out to come here to catch it.
