Our units were dispatched for mutual aid requested by Gas City Fire Department this morning for a residential structure fire in an apartment complex. Excellent job to all involved in a quick knock, and keeping the fire from spreading.

Good morning from the Mississinewa 1812! Along with Grant County EMS, we're on site today. A few tips if you're visiting today;

•Arrive early! The ticket box office line was already formed 40 minutes before the gates opened today, and traffic will certainly be a factor all day.

•Pack plenty of water, heat exhaustion was a factor during Friday's events

•Dress accordingly- sunblock and lighter clothing should be considered when visiting today.

•Please be mindful of residence who live in the area! Share the road, and keep off of their properties.

Enjoy your visit if you attend, the members of the 1812 have done a phenomenal job at getting this program restarted and the new grounds are truly impressive!
