🚨 LOCAL 773 STANDS STRONG 🚨

This morning in Marion, IL, Field Reps Chuck Sine and John Howerton led members of Laborers Local 773 in job action at a railroad project being run by an out-of-state non-union contractor.

Scabby the Rat made an appearance, and our members stood firm protecting our area standards and our way of life.

In less than three hours, the message was heard loud and clear — a Local 773 member will now be signed on with the contractor, working this project right here in our backyard.

Let this be a reminder to every out-of-state contractor thinking about cutting corners in Southern Illinois: if you're coming through our area, you're coming through Local 773.
