His compassionate presence in community involvement brought the feeling of connection to everyone he met. With keen sensitivity, he lived to be in step with those around him, paddling as One. As the heartbeat of any canoe he sat in, his relentless rhythm brought life and power to his team. He exemplified an adept perceptivity to everything in his surroundings, including the water.
This cultivated a character that was careful, considerate and endlessly inspirational.

Fun little battles throughout the Lanakila Classic race between fellow teammates as well as other competitors! Marina had a total of 17 paddlers racing with awesome performances by all!

Shout outs to our Masters and Sr Masters men who always remind us that they’re not just fast for their divisions, they’re fast, period. Their consistency in training and racing throughout the winter sets them up for success during OC6 season. It’ll be exciting to see how big boat season shapes up for all of Marina!
