Beauty isn’t everything..

I have things to say….

Beauty is just the tip of the iceberg, putting your worth on just your beauty alone is due to feeling so empty inside.

There are so many people walking around like zombies. Living for the quick high hit they can get from life. Using anything to distract themselves from feeling the pain that’s going on within.

That was me. Using my beauty as a way to pretty much get anything I want. From s*x, to fancy dinners,
you name it.

It was fun, until it wasn’t.

We all have those people in our lives that no matter how many trancasos they go through, they just don’t seem quite to get the lesson.

So then where does depth + wisdom come from? Great question. One we can ponder on and come up with so many answers.

Depth comes from being willing to question things, putting yourself in situations out of your comfort zone, pondering on questions and being okay with not having the answers right now, and above all getting really quiet with yourself so that you can hear what your heart has to say.

Don’t get me wrong, beauty is to be appreciated. But you can’t build a life on something that with time diminishes.

It’s my Birthday! My 35th bday ♥️

I’m just …grateful. Gratitude For building a character that can withstand all the stuff life brings.

This past year was hard and I pulled from places in me I didn’t know existed…

But I also met parts of myself that I’m so proud of and navigated thru the hard times with kindness + grace.

I pray that God ‘heals my heart and makes it clean’
But also continues to ‘break my heart for what breaks his’

I don’t know always know where I’m going, but one thing I can always bet on is ….the presence of something greater always leading.
