Routine keeps me grounded.
But every once in a while, life has to shake you up.
Burning Man does that beautifully, It tears apart structure, routine and all the plans you cling to.
As a business owner, I thrive on discipline.
But out here… I pause. I reflect. I ask myself:
👉 Is my routine really serving me?
👉 What do I want to change, if anything?
Consistency in nutrition, fitness and life has shaped me. Yet, the burn reminds me that growth comes when beliefs are challenged.
Evolving. Always.
Last week, I took a few unplanned pauses in my day. Most of you won’t know this but I regularly tell my clients that small breaks are not wasted time, They’re part of the work!
Coming back to those pauses I realized:
• Not every break needs a perfect setting
• A few minutes of noticing your surroundings or taking a deep breath can reset your mind
• Productivity isn’t doing more, nonstop it’s about sustaining energy, focus, and clarity
PS - Even the smallest pause can feel strange at first. Most of us feel guilty when we stop, and that’s normal we don’t need extremes!
No crazy hacks
No all-or-nothing streaks
It’s simple ex*****on, day in and day out:
Notice your body
Take a breath
Step away from tasks even briefly
Let your mind rest, without guilt
Repeat, whenever you get the chance
That’s it! No magic and No secrets
The challenge isn’t knowing this
The challenge is showing up for yourself daily, even when no one else is watching!
What’s amazing is:
People who take these pauses consistently feel lighter, clearer, and more energized
They start to work better, think better, and even enjoy life more
Because a small pause isn’t just a break, it’s a reset for your mind and body
