Prenatal weight training has the same foundation as strength training for women or men.
But it does include specific modifications when needed — like avoiding movements that cause doming, discomfort, p***c symphysis pain, or any personal restriction (for example, if you don’t feel comfortable doing core work during pregnancy).
What I notice most in my pregnant clients is that pregnancy often becomes their biggest motivation — a reason to learn more about their body, move with purpose, and stay more consistent than ever before.
