When your phone drops one of those old memories on you, and you have to stop for a minute just to reminisce about the good times, it really puts life into perspective.

My life has been completely turned upside down, but somehow we keep pushing forward.

If you have someone you love, give them a hug. Give them a kiss. Tell them you love them. Not because it might be the last time you ever see them, but because it could be the last time you get to hold them, laugh with them, share dinner with them, watch a movie together, or simply enjoy the little moments that we all take for granted.

This is what happened to me.

First, I lost my mother. Then just a few months later, I lost my wife.

She's not gone forever, but she's in another country, and that makes it incredibly hard to continue building the life we had together. Everything changes. Food doesn't taste the same. The bed doesn't feel the same. Watching movies alone doesn't feel right. Going out to dinner knowing the person I love is thousands of miles away and unable to share those moments with me is a pain I wouldn't wish on anyone.

And the hardest part is knowing we did everything we were told to do.

Follow the process.
Do it the right way.
Be patient.

We spent years and thousands of dollars doing exactly what we were asked to do, only to have it end like this. That's the part that hurts the most.

Today, I didn't want to talk about personal watercraft, sound systems, or business.

Today, I wanted to share some of my favorite memories with my wife.

Over the last six and a half years, we built a life together. We created countless memories, traveled, laughed, struggled, succeeded, and dreamed about growing old together. There are too many memories to share, but these are some of the moments that will always stay with me.

This isn't the end of our story. It's simply a chapter that neither of us expected to face.

We were almost finished with the immigration process. Six and a half years later, after all the waiting, paperwork, appointments, and sacrifices, we were so close to the finish line. Now, instead of moving forward together, we're forced to start over and face another two to three years apart while we work to bring her home.

Looking through these photos reminds me of everything we've been through together and everything we're still fighting for.

I also want to thank every single person who has reached out. The phone calls, text messages, emails, prayers, and words of encouragement have meant more than you'll ever know. The support from my customers, friends, and extended PWC Brackets family has helped me get through some of the darkest days of my life.

PWC Brackets will persevere.

When I married my wife, I made her a promise. I told her that one day, when we're old and gray, I'd make lemonade for her. We'd sit on the porch together, hold hands, drink cold lemonade, and laugh about all the good times we shared.

No matter how long this takes, no matter how difficult the road ahead becomes, I intend to keep that promise.

These photos are not a goodbye.

They're a reminder of what we're fighting for.

And one day, we'll sit on that porch together again.
