Mahalo to Home Is Our Sanctuary for inviting us to share about our Hawaiian Culture during their summer class session! The students were able to learn about the history of lei making and hula dancing. Then they were able to have an engaging experience in making their own lei out of gummy worms and learning a hula dance using shells that they got to take home. We had so much fun! We love teaching whereever we are invited, but we especially love teaching in our local community in Maricopa City.

Yesterday we were invited be part of a Hawaiian themed birthday party where we got to dance and teach hula to their wonderful guests at their beautiful home in Hidden Valley. The mountains in the background and the calming breeze made the event a scenic experience to dance hula in the nature around us at their private home.
