At Still Waters, the women recently took part in a meaningful activity: panning for gems. As they sifted through the sand and discovered hidden treasures, it became a beautiful picture of truth, what may be overlooked by the world is still precious beyond measure in the eyes of the Lord.

Each stone found was a reminder that God sees them as refined, valuable, and deeply loved, not because of what they’ve done, but because of who they are in Him.

Moments like these help restore identity, rebuild confidence, and remind each woman that her life holds incredible worth and purpose.

We were blessed to welcome a group of teachers from Alabama who poured into the women of Still Waters through teaching, encouragement, and a joyful Spiritual Gifts Party. Together, they helped our residents explore the gifts God has uniquely placed within them.

What may look like a simple event is actually a powerful moment of healing, identity, and hope being restored.
