We would like to recognize the following students for their outstanding musical accomplishments!

Victoria Welker
Victoria is a dedicated student of Mr. Devin. Victoria shows consistent preparation coupled with healthy curiosity and a desire to improve. This puts her in the top tier for most measurable growth in a 6 month period. Additionally, she demonstrates that adult learners can achieve mastery of an instrument. Keep up the great work Victoria!

Izzy Hennessy
Izzy is a hardworking student of Ms. Jessica. Izzy comes into lessons with lots of energy and is always ready to learn anything. She's doing a wonderful job so far and should be so proud, Ms. Jessica certainly is! Keep up the great work!

Cora Goff
Cora is a hardworking student of Ms. Stephanie. Cora has been so fun to teach. She always arrives with a bright smile and is eager to learn anything she’s given. Ms. Stephanie is so proud of the musical awards she has received from her high school career, the Kentridge Vocal Jazz Student of the Year! We look forward to what she will be doing in college this next year. Bravo to you Cora!

Madilyn De Vera
Madilyn De Vera is a dedicated student of Mr. Mars. Madilyn has been working so hard on mastering barre chords and strengthening her rhythm guitar skills. She’s already starting to sing an Elvis classic while playing! Mr. Mars is so proud of your dedication and progress, Madilyn. Keep up the fantastic work!

Gabriel Ruthford
Gabriel is a hardworking student of Ms. Emily. Gabriel has been doing an amazing job learning to navigate his “solo” voice. He is always willing to try new things and comes with a willing attitude every week. Keep up the great work Gabriel!

Connor Dahlstrom
Connor is a hardworking student of Mr. Karl. Through Connor’s hard work and perseverance, he has developed excellent control and proper playing technique. He consistently comes to class prepared, knows his music, and is always ready to give his best. Mr. Karl is so proud of your continued growth and improvement in piano Connor!

Joanna Wang
Joanna is a dedicated student of Ms. Ariel. Joanna has built such a consistent practice routine, and it really shows. She recently sat down and played her recital piece from our May recital completely from memory—and absolutely amazed Ms. Ariel! It was polished, confident, expressive, and even better than expected! A huge shoutout to Joanna Wang for her incredible dedication! Keep up the great work Joanna!

William Orme
William is a hardworking student of Mr. Robert. William has been working on his chords (even making one of his own!) and has even started writing his own song with the chords he’s been learning! Keep up the amazing work William!

🇺🇸🎤 Join us in celebrating two incredible Voice in the Valley students at the City of Maple Valley’s 2026 Independence Day Celebration!

✨ Lexi Richtmyer will kick off the evening with a featured performance from 5:30 to 6:15 PM.

⭐ Then, just before the fireworks, our very own Rose Caldwell, 2026 Maple Valley Idol Jr. Champion, will have the honor of singing the National Anthem as the community counts down to the fireworks display.

We are beyond proud of these talented young artists and can’t wait to cheer them on! If you’re celebrating the Fourth in Maple Valley, come out early, show your support, and help us celebrate these amazing VIV performers.
