That is hot enough to cause burns in seconds, and most pet owners do not realize it until it is too late.

Quick test before your walk: press the back of your hand to the pavement for 5 seconds. If it is too hot for you, it is too hot for your dog. 🐾

Stick to early morning or evening walks this summer, or opt for grassy paths when you can!
