“Blessed Assurance,” my proudest work yet. Words can’t describe how proud I am of this song. When I listen I hear “Glory.” This is the kind of work I’ve wanted to do since I was a little girl, the kind that I could leave behind for even after I’m gone.
Working with has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. He’s so kind, anointed, generous, and he just makes everyone around him feel so seen and welcomed. Him and his team have taken such amazing care of me, and it truly means so much to me. •

A text I sent the day of release that I don’t mind in sharing :) •

“Everything had been really discouraging me with so much in my life and music, and this project and Tommee have truly motivated me to keep going.

This project has reminded me that there is still heart in music, in people, and that God is alive and well in my life, and in everyone else’s too. I had breakfast this morning and I realized the way Tommee produced this song translates the depths of my story and me that I feel only God has ever understood and seen.
It also translates something huge that isn’t spoken, Gods everlasting life, Gods glory. I honestly see colors and a stream of living water when I listen to it.”

This song for me has been a reminder to me that when the ways of the world start to weigh on me, or when I’ve been carrying too much, that I can always go back to the root of it all. Jesus, my creator, and the truth that in him ALL things are made new. I am his, he is mine. These aren’t just words, it’s an unbreakable heavy promise, a declaration of love that was already paid for.
God is the anchor in my life, my foundation, he’s in my bones, and the reason that I can live an abundant and free life.
I tell him all the time that the greatest honor in my lifetime is to serve him in any way that I can. I’m honored to be his daughter.
