We remember today, June 19th, as the day slaves residing in Texas received the news of their freedom, two years after the establishment of the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1st, 1863.

Our office will be closed to honor and respect the great individuals who were all (finally) liberated from involuntarily building our nation and their impact that carries into our present day.

We hope that you not only celebrate but reflect on the changes we each can make to contribute to a better tomorrow for all!
