Naturopathic doctor Nadia Musavvir explains, “Shallow breathing (or not breathing) sends the message to the brain that you are under threat. You can interrupt this by simply taking a pause to breathe. The longer you exhale, the more the lungs can expand and send a signal to the brain that you are not in any imminent danger.”
Such a powerful tool if you’re looking to balance life more effectively or to teach to our tiny humans how to stay living and leading from their hearts. ❤️

Breath for Self Care: Let It Go
Class available in person or on zoom.
There are many reasons why we hold onto things that no longer serve us. Often, the things we hold onto tell the story of who we are. We find it hard to let go of them because they’re tied to memories or emotions related to our sense of self-worth or identity. There’s also an unconscious benefit that can keep us holding onto any of those beliefs or emotions which creates another barrier to fully letting go.
To address this excess baggage, I invite you to the power of a two-part breath class:
*To facilitate the release of what isn’t ours any longer through the breath
*Creation of the energetic space to discover and step into what is uniquely yours
* Tackle what we have unconsciously avoided in order to feel comfort or safety
* Experiences often include physical and/or emotional processing that open the doors to creative insight and clarity or feelings of peace or calm
* Expect to feel a shift in your energetic state and a little bit more YOU : more grounded, creative, expressive, empowered and expansive.
* A chance to integrate , rest and restore in community at the conclusion of our practice
