Minnesota State University, Mankato is proud to announce the new Maverick Food Pantry, run by Diversity and Inclusion in partnership with Student Government and the Kearney Center for International Students. This service will provide perishable and non-perishable food as well as toiletries for students that are in need. The full pantry will open at the beginning of spring semester in 142 Carkoski Commons. Our goal is to work collaboratively with academic departments, community organizations, and corporate partners to provide food for students that are in need. In an effort to serve students during the break between semesters, we will be distributing food boxes each Monday from Noon to 2:00 p.m. in the Multicultural Center, CSU 269. Please spread the word to your students about this service and consider partnering with us on service-learning projects or make a donation to the Maverick Food Pantry.
