Director of Community Programming, Julia Hamann, was in Minneapolis last week for the Community Research for Liberation National Convening hosted by Research In Action.
The conference theme was centered on building a new table with black women, girls and femmes and was full of wisdom shared by many inspiring leaders in liberation work, including Dr. Brittany Lewis, Founder and CEO of Research in Action, and therapist and New York Times best-selling author Dr. Resmaa Menakem.
Julia also enjoyed running into our friends at Violence Free Minnesota and connecting with a former CADA intern!
We’re thrilled to announce CADA is now a member of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce!
While we have supported individuals and families in the New Ulm and Brown County area for many years, we’re thankful for the opportunity to strengthen connections, build new partnerships, and engage even more fully with the community alongside local businesses and organizations.
