❤️ Oh how far we've come!
July 2023 I made my first ever batch of royal icing and 𝑰 𝒂𝒃𝒔𝒐𝒍𝒖𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒕. After decorating cookies and cakes exclusively in buttercreme (and a little fondant) for 13 years I was extremely frustrated by the finickyness of royal.
Luckily I don't back down from a challenge that easily, especially when it comes down to something simply being a new artistic medium. I was just switching out paint and pens for sugar and flour.
Months of trial, error, and practice later Sweet Stardust was born and I wouldn't have it any other way!
