Roadwork Next Week on Rt. 772 in Warwick Township, Lancaster County, PA

PennDOT announced that starting Monday, June 15, a PennDOT highway maintenance crew is scheduled to conduct road base repair on a section of Route 772 (Main Street) between the intersection with East Newport Road and Rothsville Road, near the White Swan restaurant, and Church Road in Warwick Township.

Weather permitting, this work will be performed Monday through Wednesday, June 15-17, starting at 7 a.m. The end time each day will vary. There will be single lane restrictions under flagging during work hours. Expect traffic delays.

The Pennsylvania Game Commission is holding one-day Junior Game Warden Camps across the Commonwealth - including one in our district - providing those who attend a structured, fun-filled day learning about the career of a Pennsylvania state game warden.

One of the camps will be held on Friday, July 24, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area Visitor Center, 100 Museum Road in Stevens. Campers will spend the day with game wardens, gaining insight into the job and the Game Commission’s mission of managing and protecting the state’s wildlife and habitats while promoting hunting and trapping. Campers will join wardens in light physical fitness activities, confidence-building exercises, hands-on learning stations and more.
