Borough Street Sweeping

The Manheim Borough will perform street sweeping beginning Monday, June 8th through Thursday, June 11, 2026. Street sweeping for the east side of the borough, including Main Street, will occur on Monday, June 8th, and Tuesday, June 9th. Street sweeping for the west side of the borough will occur on Wednesday, June 10th and Thursday, June 11th.

Manheim Borough is hiring a Codes Compliance Officer to enforce zoning ordinances, property maintenance codes, and building regulations. Responsibilities include reviewing permits, investigating violations, overseeing inspections, and serving as the Borough’s Floodplain Administrator. Applicants must obtain a PA Building Code Official (BCO) certification within 90 days. Knowledge of the PA Uniform Construction Code (UCC), zoning laws, and floodplain management is required. Certified Zoning Officer (CZO) or Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) preferred. Competitive salary and benefits.
