Winners! A huge congratulations go out to the team of K-State AS, Lillian Ardis and Caitlin Sand, who came away as the TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS in the varsity division of the University of Texas, San Antonio tournament, AKA the Earthseed Invitational, earlier this month. Lillian was the first place speaker and Caitlin was the third place speaker. Couldn't be prouder of our K-State Debate Wildcats!

We were so excited to host teams from across the country on our beautiful campus here in Manhattan for the K-State half of the third annual Sunflower Swings. This is one of two tournaments back to back over winter break, with the first being hosted by our friends from KU. Also, a special congratulations to the team of Dan Robertson and Taryn Day as well as Cody Spurlock who had to debate "maverick" (solo) when his partner fell ill on the first day of the tournament. Both teams cleared and ended up as octafinalists in the open division.
