Yet millions of people around the world still face barriers to receiving medical care.

We’re often asked what Social Promise does in Uganda.

The answer is pretty simple.

We don’t go in with our own ideas of what should change. We don’t try to build something new.

We partner with organizations like Lacor Hospital that are already part of their communities and understand what is needed.

Our role is to stay in close communication, to listen, and to help connect that work with people who want to support it in a thoughtful and consistent way.

That connection matters. It helps ensure support reflects real needs and continues over time.

It’s not the fastest approach. But we believe it leads to something stronger.
