Manhattan Reptile World
10/07/2025
Good Morning, Manhattan Family, Friends, and Fellow Reptile Enthusiasts,
Bee and I wanted to take a moment to address a few important updates with our amazing community.
First and foremost, we sincerely apologize for being closed over the past few days. We encountered a temporary licensing issue that required us to pause operations until it was resolved. We’re excited to share that we’ve received the green light to reopen tomorrow, October 8th, 2025, and will resume our normal business hours of 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
A huge thank you to the Kansas Department of Agriculture for their support and assistance throughout this process — they were truly the MVPs!
⸻
Secondly, you may have noticed a “For Rent” sign in front of the shop. It breaks our hearts to announce that Bee and I have made the difficult decision to close Manhattan Reptile World.
We’ve spent countless hours exploring every possible option to stay open, but due to the rising costs of supplies and equipment, difficulties in acquiring inventory, and increased city and state taxes, continuing operations has simply become unsustainable.
⸻
In the meantime, we’ll be offering storewide discounts until all animals and products are sold:
• 20% off all animals
• 10% off all products
We’ll also continue to offer bundle deals, which include everything you need to welcome a new family member — habitat, supplies, and the animal itself.
⸻
Bee and I are absolutely devastated by this decision. Manhattan Reptile World holds an incredible amount of sentimental value to us — it’s where we met a year and a half ago, and where our journey together began.
While this may be the end of this chapter, it’s not goodbye forever. We’ll be keeping our page active so that you can still reach out with any reptile-related questions or concerns. We’re more than happy to continue helping our community in any way we can.
We also have big plans for the future, which we’ll be sharing right here as they develop.
⸻
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single one of you for your love, loyalty, and support over the years. Manhattan Reptile World became a beloved part of this community because of all of you, and we’ll forever be grateful for the memories we’ve shared together.
From our family to yours — thank you for allowing us to be part of your reptile journey.
With love and gratitude,
Bee & Anthony

⚠️⚠️⚠️ ATTENTION ⚠️⚠️⚠️
We are SOLD OUT of rodents until TUESDAY, Sept 9th.
It’s a difficult topic for us to address, but we are still struggling to rebuild the rodent colonies we lost during the summer. Between floods, extreme heat, and unexpected tragedy we have been forced to outsource. Yes, there is a positive outcome right around the corner; with repairs made to our rodent-housing and cooler temperatures we hope to see numbers increase as well as the sizes your animals need. Until then however, we are at the mercy of making weekly trips to restock what we can for our customers. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and we hope you all will stick with us during this rebuilding process.
Love and peace,
Tony and Bee
