⚡ Power outages can happen when we least expect them—are you prepared to keep your food safe?

Remember:
🥩 Keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible.
🕒 Refrigerated food is generally safe for up to 4 hours if the door stays closed.
❄️ A full freezer can usually keep food frozen for about 48 hours (24 hours if half full).
🌡️ Do you have a refrigerator/freezer thermometer? When in doubt, throw it out! Never taste food to determine if it's safe. Check out this publication for more information on keeping food safe during power outages!
