This song started out as a candid freestyle w Byron and a friend, the video instantly caught some attention on tik tok and then insta. The raw human emotion he brings to his music is truly captivating. Feels confirming to see people connecting w him the same way I did when we started working early on

Byron hit me to shotgun release the studio version of the song so we jumped straight onto a live stream, where I helped w some vocal production and then I dove into some production tweaks and mix/master. Byron and his pops were in Australia at the time so huge s/o to .co for coming in clutch again.

The creative process on this one was unique. Since the raw organic freestyle video was already going viral we wanted to keep that energy in the actual release. The final blend we landed on felt “just right”
