๐ Tell Amazon to stop putting pregnant workers in danger!! ๐จ
1400+ workers nationwide have shared horror stories of how Amazon treated them while they were pregnant. Amazon has a clear pattern of delaying and denying pregnancy accommodations, as well as disciplining workers when they can't keep up the pace or need to take time off.
What does this mean for many pregnant Amazon workers & new moms?
โ ๏ธ UNSAFE WORK CONDITIONS
โ ๏ธ HIGH RISK PREGNANCIES
โ ๏ธ MISCARRIAGES
โ ๏ธ GETTING FIRED
โ ๏ธ LOSING THEIR HOMES
Were you pregnant at Amazon & have a story to share?

๐ฃTELL AMAZON: STOP PUTTING PREGNANT WORKERS IN DANGER!!
When Marley, Key'Asia, and Alisha each got pregnant, they were excited and felt prepared to provide for their babies with their jobs at Amazon. But instead of accommodating them, Amazon made them choose between their jobs and their babies.
Amazon ended up FIRING all of them, leading some to lose their homes right before they welcomed a newborn.
Now they're fighting back! This week, the trio hit the red carpet & runway at the Ball Without Billionaires. They represented the 1,400+ pregnant & postpartum Amazon workers from across the country who have come forward with stories of mistreatment.
๐ฉ HELP BRING THE HEAT TO AMAZON!

How many boxes does Amazon expect YOU to pack in peak season?
OVER 9000!!!!
The Cut featured our member Marley ๐๐๐ฟ She's a powerful leader in the movement for pregnancy justice at Amazon!!

IN HER WORDS: " I had a different outlook on how I was going to have my first pregnancy and Amazon ripped that from me."
Marley worked at a warehouse in Wisconsin where she had to lift 50 pound boxes over and over during her shift. When she got pregnant, she requested accommodations so she could keep working safely. Amazon NEVER approved her accommodations, putting her and her baby in danger. Her pregnancy became high-risk and she had to be rushed to the hospital to give birth early.
THIS IS NOT A COMPANY THAT HAS A PROBLEM WITH SPEED
Amazon can deliver your packages in one day, but it left Marley waiting for safe work conditions for her entire pregnancy. That's a choice.
WE'RE DEMANDING THAT AMAZON:
1๏ธโฃ Follow federal law (Pregnant Workers Fairness Act)
2๏ธโฃ Stop punishing workers for pregnancy
3๏ธโฃ Accommodate us automatically!

This May Day, we showed up to join the , , and other fellow Amazon workers to say:
Amazon Delivers Poverty / War / ICE.
Inside its many warehouses, Amazon delivers unsafe working conditions that injure workers and punishes people for being pregnant when they ask for their legally protected basic protections.
Outside the warehouses, Amazon Web Services (AWS) fuels surveillance, violence, and deportation by powering ICE with the same tech it uses to surveil and punish its workers when they donโt keep up with its exploitative work speeds.
It is the same business model:
Amazon makes billions in profit from harming workers and their families.
This May Day, itโs clearer than ever. Our struggles are connected, and so is our power!
