Parallel Arts

We study the levers and forces, the angles and arcs. We name the muscles, chart the bones, and measure the movements, believing we have captured the full extent of the body's potential within the tidy confines of biomechanics. But when we stand at the edge of what we understand, a question remains. Is this truly all we are? Is every leap, every delicate balance, merely a calculation of physics, or is there a deeper wisdom,and what more it might have to say if we only asked?
